Workshops on the texts governing Zones A and D and Inauguration of the ECCAS Study and Capacity Building Center

Libreville (Gabonese Republic), August 2, 2024 - The President of the Commission of the Economic Community of Central African States (ECCAS), His Excellency Gilberto Da PIEDADE VERISSIMO kicked off the work of the Workshops on the examination of the draft texts governing Zones A and D and at the same time unveiling the plaque of the ECCAS Study and Capacity Building Center at the former ECCAS headquarters.

The event brought together the Commissioners of the ECCAS Commission, Senior Officials and Executives of the ECCAS Commission, Senior Officers of the Multinational Force of Central Africa (FOMAC) headed by Major General Audace Nduwumunsi who officially took office on March 9, 2024 in Libreville as Chief of Staff of the Multinational Force of Central Africa (FOMAC).

Also taking part in the opening ceremony were the senior officers of the Multinational Coordination Centers of Zones A and D, of the Regional Center for Studies on Maritime Security of Central Africa (CRESMAC) in the presence of some diplomats from ECCAS member states.
